Hello!

 

I'm Martine, a violist based in New York, NY. I play the viola as my profession, as a soloist, chamber musician, improviser, composer collaborator, and doctoral student in viola performance at CUNY Graduate Center. I live in Harlem now (I moved to NYC a year ago),  but grew up in Rochester, NY. I also write poetry (see my "Poems" page for more info) and enjoy biking, cooking, travel, and wandering in the woods!
